Virginia Coronavirus Cases Are Still Increasing. Fairfax County Is The Hardest Hit.

Coronavirus cases reached nearly 11,000 on Thursday, increasing by 7% since Wednesday. According to the Virginia Department of Health, 1,753 people have been hospitalized and 372 people have died due to the virus. So far 64,518 people have been tested.

Here’s a breakdown of coronavirus cases by county:

-106 new cases in Fairfax County

-103 new cases in Prince William County

-52 new cases in Southampton

-46 new cases in Chesterfield County

-38 new cases in Alexandria

-34 new cases in Henrico County

-28 new cases in Harrisonburg

-23 new cases in Arlington County and Loudoun County

-18 new cases in Rockingham County

-15 new cases in Virginia Beach

-13 new cases in Richmond County
