Festivals
India Fest
Date: Oct. 3

Explore the beauty of Indian culture during India Fest at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Held by the Asian Indians of Hampton Roads, the event has been the region’s biggest Indian cultural celebration for the past two decades.
The free event will feature cultural performances, Indian cuisine, henna art, and a shopping bazaar. This year’s theme is eternal love.
Fil Fest USA
Dates: Oct. 2-4
Location: Rudee Loop, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
Celebrate Filipino culture during the annual Fil Fest USA weekend. Since 2015, the festival has brought thousands together each year to enjoy the food, music, dance, and arts that make Filipino culture so unique.
The event will feature cultural performances, educational experiences, family-friendly entertainment, and local businesses. Admission is free.
Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show

Location: Virginia Beach Boardwalk from 23rd St. to 33rd St.
Explore the Virginia Beach Boardwalk while taking in works by some of the best artists in the country during the Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show. The outdoor event is one of the longest-running art shows on the East Coast, having started in 1952. Over 160 artists will be displaying their work during the show.
The event will also feature various destinations, like the Virginia MOCA Art Park, where a variety of activities will take place. The park will offer live artist demonstrations, on-stage performances, lawn games, bubbles, face painting, yoga, a pumpkin patch, and hands-on art making.
Check out the Liquid Art Beer Garden by Commonwealth Brewing Co. at 24th Street Park. There will also be food trucks, live mural paintings, electronic music DJ sets, and various games.
Ligaya Filipino Festival

Location: Mt. Trashmore Park Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23452
Head to Mount Trashmore Park for more Filipino culture during the Ligaya Filipino Festival from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This second-annual event is free and open to the public. The event will feature food trucks and vendor tents.
Hunt Club Farm Harvest Fair
Dates: Through Nov. 1
Location: 2388 London Bridge Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23456
Hunt Club Farm’s Harvest Fair through Nov. 1 offers the ultimate fall experience in Virginia Beach. The fair serves up tons of family-friendly fun, including a massive pumpkin patch, petting zoo, scenic hayride, giant straw patch, and tree walk.
Enjoy music from the live DJ or stay active with the games while enjoying some tasty fall treats.
