Lewis Ginter worker explains strike: ‘We want the garden to come back to the table’

Sept. 2 marked the first day of a strike by Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden workers in their fight for better pay. Jamie O’Brien, one of the striking employees, said the goal is to get the garden’s management to come back to the negotiating table so the workers can get better pay in their first union contract.
