Virginia Sen. Mark Warner said he was “embarrassed” by President Trump’s speech, accusing him of using false claims to undermine trust in the election system ahead of 2026. Warner warned this was bigger than another political rant: “We’ve got to decide whether we can keep our republic.” He argued that brushing off Trump’s rhetoric now could come at the country’s peril.
