Sen. Mark Warner says he’ll urge banks and Wall Street firms not to pay for early access to Donald Trump’s Truth Social posts, warning the proposal could give investors an unfair edge over the rest of the market. Warner argued that because Trump’s posts can move financial markets, charging for advance access resembles a “pay-to-play” system that benefits those who can afford it. He called the plan “inherent corruption” and said legitimate financial firms should refuse to participate.
