The pair admitted in a separate interview to charging between $300,000 and $1,000,000 to represent those seeking pardons, arguing some of that money may be used to pay for tickets to events where President Donald Trump may be present, though they say there are no political contributions associated with the money. Both Wohl and Burkman previously pleaded guilty to a fifth-degree felony charge of telecommunications fraud in Ohio after orchestrating an illegal robocall scheme aimed at suppressing Black voters during the 2020 election.
