Here’s what you need to know: “American Pickers” is returning to Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina to film episodes of The History Channel’s hit television series throughout the region in November.
Important info:
- “American Pickers” is a documentary series that explores the world of antique picking. The show follows skilled pickers as they hunt for some of America’s most valuable antiques.
-
The television show is seeking leads and would love to explore hidden treasures. If you or someone you know has a unique item, a story to tell and is ready to sell, the show’s producers would like to hear from you.
-
The Pickers visit only private collections and do not visit stores, flea markets, malls, auction businesses, museums, or other places open to the public.
Ready to sell? We’ve got more information, including how to get in touch with the show, below.

We got some of the funniest answers to our recent question, “If your Virginia community made the headlines, what would it be for?”
Instagram user @disgruntled214 came in with a classic: “Potholes.”
Emily T. roasted with a decades-long dispute in the Southside: “Danville gets new business; locals immediately hate it and request Cracker Barrel.”

On Oct. 17, thousands of Americans will come together for the fourth installment of No Kings.
This No Kings, however, is different from the rest. While other No Kings national actions focused on protesting, this No Kings campaign emphasizes voter participation ahead of the midterm elections.
The fourth No Kings, called No Kings: Vote Early, will include rallies and protests, as well as events that highlight voter education and early voting.
Already cast your ballot? There are also plenty of visibility events, so you can encourage others to vote early.
