Are you or someone you know heading back to the on-campus grind this month? The Richmond and Henrico Health Districts recently published a great list of student wellness tips you might like to share.
We’ve broken it down into three pop quiz categories—but be sure to read the full report between classes.
1. Build strong habits
- Practice healthy sleep patterns
- Eat balanced meals
- Avoid too much caffeine/energy drinks
- Stay up-to-date on vaccines
- Practice good hygiene
2. Protect your body
- Take advantage of campus health checkups
- Know your options for preventing infections
- Make responsible choices if you choose to drink
3. Care for your mind
- Practice mindfulness
- Recognize signs of anxiety and depression
- Talk to someone you trust
- Call #988 if you’re in crisis
