
Coronavirus cases reached nearly 11,000 on Thursday, increasing by 7% since Wednesday. According to the Virginia Department of Health, 1,753 people have been hospitalized and 372 people have died due to the virus. So far 64,518 people have been tested.

-46 new cases in Chesterfield County
-38 new cases in Alexandria
-34 new cases in Henrico County
-28 new cases in Harrisonburg
-23 new cases in Arlington County and Loudoun County
-18 new cases in Rockingham County
-15 new cases in Virginia Beach
-13 new cases in Richmond County
-11 new cases in Culpeper County and Sussex County
-10 new cases in Manassas City, Norfolk and Suffolk
-9 new cases in Richmond City
-8 new cases in Fauquier County
-6 new cases in Chesapeake
-5 new cases in Portsmouth and Shenandoah County
-4 new cases in Colonial Heights
-3 new cases in Albemarle County, Augusta County,
-2 new cases in Hampton, James City County and Madison County,
-1 new case in Caroline County, Fairfax City, Isle of Wight County, and Lancaster
