Rep. Subramanyam alleged FBI wiretapped his calls during Epstein investigation

Virginia Rep. Suhas Subramanyam alleges the FBI intercepted phone conversations he had with State Senate President Pro Tempore Louise Lucas while federal agents were investigating Lucas. During an appearance on CNN, Subramanyam questioned the timing. The interceptions happened during Virginia’s redistricting referendum campaign, while he was also serving on the House Oversight Committee and pushing the Justice Department for answers in the Epstein investigation. He says that overlap raises concerns about whether politics and the Epstein files played a role in the surveillance.
