After meeting with U.S. citizen Carolina Molina, Rep. Don Beyer accused ICE agents of threatening her with a gun and falsely claiming she tried to run them over. Beyer says the case fits a broader pattern of misconduct in Northern Virginia and nationwide. He and Reps. Suhas Subramanyam and James Walkinshaw are launching an investigation alongside Democratic leaders on the Judiciary, Oversight and Homeland Security committees — and demanding the agents involved be removed from duty while DHS investigates.
