Rep. Suhas Subramanyam says Carolina Molina’s case is part of a broader pattern of abusive ICE tactics in Virginia and nationwide. Molina, a U.S. citizen, says ICE agents surrounded her car and pointed a gun at her after accusing her of trying to run agents over — an allegation she denies and says her dashcam footage contradicts. Subramanyam and Rep. Don Beyer are now launching an investigation, accusing the Trump administration, DOJ and FBI of failing to hold ICE accountable as similar complaints pile up across Northern Virginia.
