Virginia Rep. Don Beyer says what’s happening with ICE has gone too far. He pointed to two cases close to home: Carolina Molina, a U.S. citizen who says an agent pointed a gun at her in Falls Church, and José Mejía Hernandez, who ended up in the hospital with a traumatic brain injury after an encounter with agents in Arlington. For Beyer, these aren’t isolated incidents. He says they’re part of a much larger pattern — and wants the cases investigated and any agents who broke the law or violated policy held accountable.
