If we’re going to an antique show, budgets don’t exist. But anywhere else, you give me a dollar, and I’ll stretch it as far as it can go. A couple of weeks ago, my 8-year-old son and I explored two Southwest Virginia museums for free—and one well worth a $10 admission price.

Reproductive rights are on the ballot this November in Virginia. Unlike other Southern states, Virginia has yet to ban abortions, but the Virginia Constitution does not recognize or protect reproductive rights. This election season could change that.

✅ If the reproductive freedom amendment is added to Virginia’s Constitution, Virginians will have autonomy over miscarriage management, birth control, childbirth, abortion, and more. 

✅ Petitions are one of the best ways to show lawmakers what their citizens want. Before you vote on the reproductive freedom amendment this November, pledges are available through Planned Parenthood, REPRO Rising, and ACLU of Virginia.
