Leslie Mehta, who’s running for a seat in the House of Delegates (D-73), says she’s concerned about Virginia families being able to access the reproductive care they need, particularly IVF, which can be costly.

The topic hits close to home for Mehta: During a recent roundtable discussion on contraception, she shared her personal experience with reproductive care in Virginia, describing miscarriages, fibroids, two children conceived through IVF, and a hysterectomy.
